"I'd be very happy to recommend Matt & co. for floor sanding. They offered a competitive quote and completed the job (2 floors repaired and sanded including removal of 2 hearths) to a good standard, and kept to the original quote so we knew exactly what the cost would be up front. They were polite and communicative throughout, and very happy to work flexibly around our arrangements - including starting within just a couple of weeks which was sooner than a number of other companies that we tried. They also turned up on time and worked very fast which helped to minimise disruption. There was virtually no dust - any dust that was created was kept within the room and vacuumed up before the floor varnish was applied. The process left a few scuffs on skirting boards so be prepared with a bit of paint for after but didn't take long put right. There was a little bit of tidying to do after but wasn't much of an issue. As a suggestion, it would've helped us to be able to book Matt in further (more than a week or two) ahead just so we could plan the week/weekends better. We were slightly concerned at the mixed Google reviews but our experience was very positive. Thanks for working hard over some hot summer days!"
