"Bloody brilliant. Rang up explaining the problem (damaged old imperial size floorboards) and unlike all the other wood yards I'd spoken to, who just said "don't have that size, have you tried x, y, z?", the chap I spoke to immediately put forward a good work-around, trimming down and planing slightly larger timbers they had in stock. When I got there he made a point of serving me and was possibly even more meticulous with checking dimensions to the mm than I am! You don't find service like that in many places these days."
